Set on a quiet, tree-lined lot, this Northern Michigan home had beautiful bones, but its exterior no longer reflected the people living inside. Our goal was to give it a presence that feels grounded and elevated: a home that belongs to its landscape and stands the test of time.
Working from one cohesive concept, we guided every exterior decision, from a moody, organic palette of charcoal board-and-batten and shakes, light stacked stone, warm cedar and crisp black windows, to the lighting and landscape details that make the home glow at dusk.

Every project begins with a concept. For this home we built a complete exterior board, bringing materials, finishes, color, landscape inspiration and finishing touches together, so every selection could be seen side by side before a single decision was made.
